Still a Mystery

When you get married the vows state "in sickness and in health"....no where did they state that you would have to uphold your end of the vow for not only your husband but for your dog too!! Tank got neutered yesterday and is doing fairly well except he is dropping stink bombs left and right! Yesterday we cleaned the house while he was at the vet since he is deathly afraid of our broom as well as our vacuum. I can see why the vacuum would scare him-the noise, but the broom?? That's our scardy cat Tank for you! Any how, after all our cleaning and even a new candle for the living room, Tank decided he didn't like the new smell and is adding his own personal touch. This smell is stronger than any of our air fresheners! Now onto my dear, dear husband...this crazy sickness has been going on for a month! We have finally gotten the doctors off the "Sinus Headache Road" and down another. Yesterday, in Erik's appointment we learned that the number one diagnosis in this area is Sinus Headaches or Sinus Infections, so no wonder the doctors were misdiagnosing ET for the last three weeks. Erik's arms looks like he has problems with all the blood work that has been taken and he has had multiple CT Scans and hopefully we can finally figure out what is going on through the results of these tests that are being run. Next Wednesday is the day, keep your fingers crossed that we can figure this mystery out! The pain killers, changing the sheets every other night because of night sweats, calling the nurse on call and waiting for permission to go see the doctor has got to stop!! The military insurance is good, even great when you are healthy because after all it is free; however, when you are sick you can't do anything without asking for permission! You can only do things by yourself if you are dying; but, even if you feel like you are dying with an extremely high temperature, extreme chills, or anything you have to get permission first! So not only am I taking care of both my boys, I have to keep them both entertained and cooped up in the house. Erik has to rest and stay at home, yes no flying, and Tank isn't aloud to run, jump, play, or basically be a puppy for the next few days. Hoping this will all end soon and Erik can get back to flying and Tank can get back to being his old self!

For now, we are hanging tight, watching a lot of movies, sleeping a lot, and still wanting furniture! We have gone shopping at every furniture store in the surrounding area and have not found what we want! Therefore, our TV still sits on Erik's Air Force Academy trunk, we are still using a book case for our bar, a thrift store coffee table, and walls without picture frames! Maybe one day, we will find what we want and can look like a married couple without college-like furnishings! :)
