East Harris Drive

Well, Erik is officially the senior class at the 23rd Flying Training Squadron (FTS)! With that being said, our big days are May 21st (Drop/Assignment Night) and May 28th (Pilot Training Graduation) are coming quickly and a few weeks ago we got a notice in the mail saying we need to move out of our house by May 10th because our house will be demolished....oh boy! Well after much consideration, Erik and I have decided we will ask for an extension and keep our older "classic" home and hope at a different base we will have the opportunity for the brand new house (if we moved we would have gotten a brand new house). Our lives are crazy with Erik always being gone, the pups, and May being right around the corner so asking for an extension was best, let's hope they give it to us!

All in all, our time at Fort Rucker is most likely coming to an end and promises from months ago that I would post pictures of our house is finally here. I always wanted to wait because we were on the lookout for a new coffee table and console type table; however, Alabama selection did not meet our wants. For now, we will keep our old, cheap, college coffee table (That Moose thinks is his chew toy) and hope that we find one at our new base in a new location.

(The way our house is set up, you are supposed to have your dining room in your "Great Room"/Living Room but we didn't like that. So since Erik and I just eat on the couch when its just the two of us, we decided to move the dining room table into a small room down the hall....kinda weird but it works.)
